Using contactless Mifare Standard technology, multiple applications can reside and operate on the same card with high-level data encryption between card and reader. When a credential is waved at a Gallagher reader, the controller verifies the credentials and then sends a signal to the door lock instructing it to open. Using the robust Command Centre, you can restrict and allow access by a card, competency, or access group membership.

It can also be integrated with video monitoring and recording systems for a complete site management solution, providing greater visibility of activities at a location and making identifying people who are not authorized to be there easier.

For example, Gallagher access control can be integrated with building lifts to control floor access for staff and visitors and with video surveillance to monitor site activity. In addition, our HBUS modules provide additional input and output options for greater functionality.


Data Management

The Enterprise Data Import interface enables manual one-off migration of cardholder data from a primary human resources database into the Gallagher database or automatic updates in the Gallagher database with changes to a third-party system (e.g., CCTV, Time and Attendance, or Paging systems). The integration mechanism also allows ASCII text strings to be sent in response to Gallagher events through a third-party system, such as paging systems or alarm display units.
Integration with intercom systems enables the digital intercom functionality to be controlled via the Command Centre graphical user interface. This is particularly useful when intercoms are used as the entry door control. This feature also supports most major destination-dispatching elevator systems.
